Fees

The Surgery Center Pearl charges a facility fee for each surgical/diagnostic procedure performed by your physician. This fee includes the cost of a pre-operative evaluation, routine blood and laboratory tests, nursing personnel, medications, supplies and the use of the operating and recovery rooms.

You will receive a separate bill from your physician and anesthesiologist (if one is needed) and other professional services you may receive while you are here, such as radiology or pathology.

Medical Insurance

The Surgery Center Pearl accepts most major commercial insurance, HMO/PPO plans, Medicare and Workers Comp. The Surgery Center Pearl will bill your insurance company as a courtesy; however, any unpaid balance due is your responsibility.

Bring completed insurance forms as well as any medical information. Please check with your insurance company for pre-admission requirements such as second opinions and pre-admission certification. This will facilitate the admitting process.

Uninsured and/or self-pay patients will be required to pay for services on or before the admission date unless other arrangements have been made with The Surgery Center Pearl. As a convenience we accept Mastercard, VISA and Discover.

The Surgery Center Pearl recognizes our obligation to remain flexible in financial matters. In the event any one of the above conditions cannot be met, The Surgery Center Pearl will attempt to make other financial arrangements. The arrangements must be made prior to admission and must be approved by the Administrator.
